    When it has a slope of 3 it means y=3x+k

    Given the condition that f (-2) = 0

    So, replace the y with 0 and x with - 2

    0=3*-2+k

    0=-6+k

    k=6

    So the line is y=3x+6

    when f (p) = 3,

    3x+6=3

    3x=-3

    X=-1

    So,

    p=-1
