A blueprint for a room has a scale of 1 in. to 3 ft. On the blueprint, one wall measures 9 in. in length. If L represents the length of the actual wall, what is L?

    If the scale is 1 inch to 3 feet, and the wall is 9 inches, then our equation would be:

    9 x 3 = L 9 x 3 = 27 So, L = 27!
