She uses 10.8 yards per curtain

    Step-by-step explanation:

Let each curtain is of x yards,

Thus, the total fabric she used for 6 curtains = 6x yards,

Since, the remaining fabric she will have after making the curtains = 19.7 yards,

So, the total fabric she has initially = Fabric she used for 6 curtains + Remaing fabric

    = (6x + 19.7) yards,

But, the total fabric she has initially = 84.5 yards,

    ⇒ 6x + 19.7 = 84.5

    ⇒ 6x = 64.8

    ⇒ x = 10.8

Hence, she uses 10.8 yards per curtain.
