    Step-by-step explanation:

The amount of money the florist earns is the difference between what he charges and the actual costs that he pays.

    Earning: 12+1.5x

    Costs: 4.50+0.75x

    Therefore earning on delivery is 12+1.5x - (4.50+0.75x) = 12+1.5x-4.5-0.75x = 7.5+0.75x
