Use the distributive property to express 48+72

The distributive property says that:

A * (B + C) = A*B + A*C

in this case we have the sum:

48 + 72

First, we can see that both numbers are even numbers, so we can write this addition as:

2*24 + 2*36 = 2 * (24 + 36)

where we used the distributive property in the inverse way as usual.

2 * (24 + 36) = 2*60 = 120
