    f (x) = -2 tan (3x - 6) + 1 has a negative - 2 coefficient out front. negative means reflect vertically across x axis, the 2 is vertical expansion so

    B. It is a reflection of the parent functi0on across the x-axis.

    C. It is a vertical expansion of the parent function by a factor of 2.

    question 2:

the amplitude is supposed to be 0.5. but fi you count units from center line y = 3 to a max at y = 5, there is amplitude of 5 - 3 = 2 in the graph.

    A. the graph should be compressed vertically instead of expanded
