On a hiking trip Lashana notes that she hikes about 12 kilometers every 4 hours if she continues at this rate use a ratio table to determine about how many kilometers she could hike in 6 hours

    12:4 can be simplified to 3:1, so now you have 3 kilometers per every 1 hour, you need to know how many kilometers she can do in 6 hours, so you just multiply 3 by 6 which is 18. As a ratio it would be 18:6.
