The integer for one out of 5 is 1/5.

    Knowing this, we simply do

    (3/10 + 1/5) * 1200

    (3/10 + 2/10) * 1200

    5/10 * 1200

    1/2 * 1200 = 600.

600 people named red and blue as their favorite color.
