    Step-by-step explanation:

    3 (2x + 4y = 1)

    2 (3x - 5y = 7)

    => 12y = 3

    -10y = 14

    22y = - 9

    divided bothsides

    y = - 9/22

    To find x

    substitute Y = - 9/22

    into 2x + 4y = 1

    2x + 4 (-9/22) = 1

    2x - 18/11 = 1

    2x = 1 + 18/11

    2x = (11 + 18) / 11

    2x = 29/11

    x = 29/11/2

    x = 29/22
