If a basketball player missed 23 free throws out of 100, what fraction and what percentage of free throws did the player make?

    The player made 77 of his shots so now the fraction would be 77/100. I got 77 because when you subtract 23 from 100 you would get 77. So the fraction would be 77/100 and the percentage would be 77%.
