    Answer: 40% reduction

•To answer this, we have to find the price of each percentage.

•This can be found by subtracting the percentage from 100.

    Sale price - 100 - 20 = 85

    Last day Price - 100 - 25 = 75

•Now multiply these two values together after dividing both numbers by 100 first.

    80/100 = 0.8

    75/100 = 0.75

    0.8 * 0.75 = 0.6

•Then multiply by 100 to find the percentage

    0.6 * 100 = 60

    •60% is the end price.

But to find the overall reduction, subtract 60 from 100 ...

    100 - 60 = 40

Leaving us with the answer ...

    40% reduction on the price.

    40%

    Step-by-step explanation:

You can plug in 100 as the price of the radio to see how much the price decreased.

20% off of 100 will make it $80.

Then, with the 25% discount, it will be worth $60.

So, $40 was taken off, and 40: 100 is 0.4, so the overall percentage reduction was 40%
