What happens to the volume of a sphere when the radius is multiplied by 4?

    Vsphere = (4/3) pir^3

    Voriginal = (4/3) pir^3

    when radius is multiplied by 4

    replace r with 4r

    Vnew = (4/3) pi (4r) ^3

    Vnew = (4/3) pi (64r^3)

    Vnew = (64) (4/3) pir^3

    Vnew = (64) (Voriginal)

    the volume is 64 times the original
