Need to explain why equations 3x + 12 = 6 and - 2 = 4 - 3x isn't equivalent

    The first equation will equal a positive number while the second one is negative

    1st equation x = 2

    2nd equation x = - 2

    3x+12=6 will give you x=2

    And

    -2=4-3x will give you x=-2
