Derek is working out in order to be in shape for the upcoming football season. He does cardio exercises and strength training. Each hour he spends doing cardio burns 200 calories and each hour he spends doing strength training burns 100 calories. Derek's coach recommends that he spend more than twice as much time doing cardio exercises as he does doing strength training.
