    l=16 cm

    w=48 cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    perimeter of rectangle formula:

    2l+2w

    where

    3w=l

    and w=w

    so

    2 (3w) + 2w=128

    6w+2w=128

    8w=128

    w=16

    now substitute 16:

    2l+2 (16) = 128

    2l+32=128

    2l=96

    l=48
