    X=30

    10-25x=5

    -10 on both sides

    Then you get this:

    -25x=-5

    Then divide - 25 from both sides:

    X=30

    10-25x=5

    subtract 10 from both sides so 5-10 is - 5

    so now your left with - 25x=-5 then divdie - 25x by - 5 and rememeber - 5 divided by a negative is a positive and positive divided by a posivte is a positive and negavite divided by a positive is negavtive or positive divided by a negative is a negative

    so when you divide - 25x by - 5 you get 5 so your answer is x=-5
