    Simplest form of the ration 45 : 15 can be solved by dividing the both number by there greatest common factor. So the greatest common factor of 45 = (15 x3 and 15 = (15 x 1) so 15 is the greatest common factor. 45 / 15 = 3 and 15/15 = 1 so the ratio 3 : 1
