in 1934, there was an extreme drought in the great plains. In the number 1,934, is the value of the 9 in the hundreds place ten times the value the 3 in the tens place? Explain

    Yes, every value in the number is increased ten times then the one before. Am easier way to understand this is to say that one extra 0 was added to the place value of 9. See it as from 10 to 100
