in ΔBCD, the measure of ∠D=90°, CB = 89, BD = 80, and DC = 39. What ratio represents the cosine of ∠B?

    The cosine represents the ratio of the length of the adjacent to the length of the hypotenuse

    For angle B, adjacent is DC = 39 and hypotenuse is CB which is the longest side

    So the ratio representing cosine of angle B is 39/89
