The diagram shows a garden plot. The area of the garden is 72 square feet. The length of fencing required to completely enclose the garden is how many feet.

    Well you know that the formula for area is length * length. or length squared. So if you take the square root of 72, which is 8.48 ... then you times that number by two, you will get the perimeter. That will be your answer. Make sure you include units. The answer is 16.97 ft.
