    The standard form is ax² + bx + c = 0

    To convert it in standard form, multiply it.

    (x+6) (x-2)

    x² - 2x + 6x - 12

    x² + 4x - 12 = 0

    Now this is in the standard form where,

    a = 1

    b = 4

    c = - 12
