How is 2 3/3 - 1 4/5

    Its not atleast it shouldnt be 2 3/3 is the same as 3 and 14/5 is 2 4/5

    It will be 3 - 1 4/5 because the 3/3 is a whole so you add one but because it is a whole you take a away one and use the same denominator from the other the fraction that will be 2 5/5 - 1 4/5 and remember use the same denominator for the numerator but the answer is 1 1/5
