    Absolute value is basically the distance the away a number is from 0. its always going to be positive. so to find the number with the largest absolute value just pick the largest number, regardless of if its positive or negative. in this case it would be 12.

    -12 because if you put a negative in an absolute value you get a positive number so twelve is the largest number that can be put in an absolute value.
