    y > x² + 3x - 4

We can just simply test all of the values. The value of the y-coordinate has to be greater than the expression on the left after plugging in x.

    A. (0, 0) YES

    y > x² + 3x - 40 > 0 + 0 - 40 > - 4 TRUE

    B. (2, 1) NO

    y > x² + 3x - 41 > (2) ² + 3 (2) - 41 > 4 + 6 - 41 > 6NOT TRUE

    C. (-2, - 1) YES

    y > x² + 3x - 4-1 > (-2) ² + 3 (-2) - 4-1 > 4 - 6 - 4-1 > - 6TRUE

    D. (-5, - 1) NO

    y > x² + 3x - 4-1 > (-5) ² + 3 (-5) - 4-1 > 25 - 15 - 4-1 > 6NOT TRUE
