A star has a display case with cherry peach and grape fruit chews. There are 160 fruit chews in the display case. Given that 25% of the fruit chews are cherry and 40% peach, how many grape fruit chews are in a display case

    First, you already know that there are 160 in total. And we know that 65% are other fruit chews besides grape.

    You will subtract 65% from 100% to get 35%.

    Now, put 35 over 100 and that as a decimal is. 35, then you multiply. 35 x 160 to get 56. There are 56 grape chews in total.
