A student has two test scores. The difference between the scores is 6 and the mean, or average, of the scores is 79. What are the two test scores?

    So total score would be 79x2=158

    So test scores would be 158 / 2 which would be 79 again. One would be 79 - (6/2) and one more would be 79 + (6/2)

    Answer: 76 and 82
