    Silver : brass = 3 : 5

    Lets take the value as x

    Therefore, 3x+5x = 200 (since the mass of the medal is 200 g)

    8x = 200

    x = 200/8

    = 25

    The mass of silver = 3x

    = 3*25

    = 75 g
