Is j (x) = x^-3 even, odd, or neither function

    It's an odd function, to check: put - x in place of X

    j (x) = 1/x^3

    j (-x) = -1/x^3

    condition for odd function:

    f (-x) = -f (x)

    which is satisfied, hence it is an odd function
