The following formula relates three quantities Force (F) mass (m) and acceleration (a).

F=ma

a. solve the equation for m.

b. if the force is F = - 30 units and the acceleration is a - 6 units find the mass m

c. if the force is F = 30 units and the mass is m = 10 units find the acceleration a

    a. F = ma

    F/a = ma/a

    m = F/a

    b. F = ma

    -30 = - 6a

    a = 5

    c. F = ma

    30 = 10a

    a = 3
