The total surface area = 72 cm²

    Step-by-step explanation:

∵ The dimensions of the rectangular prism are 2, 3 and 6

∵ The prism has 2 bases shaped rectangle with dimensions 2 and 3

and four side faces each two has same dimensions 2, 6 and 3, 6

    ∴ The total surface are = 2 (2 * 3) + 2 (2 * 6) + 2 (3 * 6)

    = 12 + 24 + 36 = 72 cm²
