A group of students shared 3 rolls of clay equally. if each students got 1/2 of a roll of clay, how many students were in the group? explain.

    6 students because 1/2*2 is 1 whole role. But that would mean 2 students are involved in one full role. So then you go 2 students per 1 roll*3 rolls total and get 6 students.

    Just divide 3 by one half. It will be 6 students.
