How do i solve 5-8:4*2-1 using order of operations

    First, you multiply and divide everything in order from left to right. Meaning you actually get 5 - ((8/4) * 2) - 1 (If you first multiply with 2 and divide by 4 you'll get the same result (8*2/4=8/4*2). Then the only thing left to do is subtract so 5-4-1 = 0
