Carolla is putting a border around the edge of a rectangular bulletin board. One side of the bulletin board measures 2 feet and another side measure 4 feet. Is 10 feet of border enough?

    No. 10 ft border is not enough.

    To find out the enough length to border needed to exactly border the bulletin board, we must find out the perimeter of the bulletin board.

    Perimeter of a rectangle = Length * (2) + Width * (2)

    = (4 ft * 2) + (2 ft * 2)

    = 12 ft

    So, 10 ft is not enough because the perimeter of the bulletin board is 12 ft.
