shauna saw a total of 30 clams and fish at the beach one. if the number of the fish was 6 more than twice the number of clams which equation could she use to find x the number of clams

    x = clams

    fish = 2*x + 6

    fish + x = 30

    substitute in fish = 2*x + 6

    2x+6 + x = 30

    3x + 6 = 30
