One earthquake has magnitude 3.3. If a second earthquake has 120 times as much energy as the first, find the magnitude of the second quake.

    If I am not mistaken it is 396 because all you need to do is: 3.3 x 120

    3.3 x 120 = 396

    Magnitude for the second quake = 396
