The difference between seven times one number and three times a second number is 25. The sum of twice the first and five times the second is 95.

    7a - 3b = 25

    2a + 5b = 95

    35a - 15b = 125

    6a + 15b = 285

    41a = 410

    a = 10

    7 (10) - 3b = 25

    70 - 3b = 25

    -3b = - 45

    b = 15
