49 flowers total, minus the flower we already have:

    49 - 1 = 48

48 is how many flowers we have to plant now,

and we know that 1 seed packet = 12 flowers ...

We will divide the amount of flowers by the number of seeds in each packet:

    48 / 12 = 4

So, you will need 4 seed packets to make a total of 49 flowers, including the preexisting flower!
