How do you solve - 1=-x+2

    -1=-x+2

    first you need to get x by itself so you are going to move it to the other side. the way you do this is by subtracting 2.

    -3=-x

    then you need to divide out a negative 1

    x=3

    -2 - 2

    -3 = x

    x = - 3
