A baker made 40 loaves of wheat bread. In all, 160 loaves of bread were made. What percent of bread made was wheat bread.

    (40/160) = (x/100)

    cross multiply and get 4000=160x, then divide both sides by 160 and x equals 25.

    So 25% of the bread made was wheat bread.

    25%, because there are another 60 pieces of bread left over. 60 - 40 = 20, plus the 5 percent.
