donald has 3/5 of his rope left. he would like to share the remaining rope with his two brothers. how much of the original rope will each brother get

    amount of rope left = 3/5

    but., 1.5/5 + 1.5/5 = 3/5

    and, 1.5/5 = 15/50 = 3/10

    therefore, both the brothers get 3/10th of the rope
