Jake bought a pencil for $0.52 and a notebook for $2.45 he paid with a $10 bill how much change did he get

    take 10 - (2.45+0.52) = 10-2.97=7.03 because you take the numbers that it gives for the pencil (0.52) and the notebook (2.45) and add them together to get 2.97 for back. then take 10.00-2.97 and get 7.03
