    Slope intercept form = y = mx + b

    To convert to slope intercept form, we need simply only isolate the y variable.

    y - 6 = 2 (x + 3)

    First, distributive property.

    y - 6 = 2x + 6

    Aadd 6 to both sides.

    y = 2x + 12The equation is now in slope intercept form.
