A jogger running around a rectangular park takes a shortcut back to her car by running 85 meters from one corner to the opposite corner. If the park is 75 meters long, what is the width?

    I did:

    85*85 = 7225

    75^2 = 75*75 = 5625

    then i did basic math, 7225 - 5625 = 1600

    now what number multiplied by its self equals 1600

    40, So

    40*40=1600

    therefore 40 meters is the answer.
