    a. Probability distribution is given below

    Scores Ex, x. 1 2 3 4 5

    P (X=x). 0.05 0.09 0.03 0.42 0.41

    b. Scores mg, Y 1. 2. 3. 4. 5

    P (Y=y). 0.04. 0.1. 0.12 0.46.28

    c. probability that a randomly selected senior executive will report a job satisfaction score of 4 or 5.

    P (4 or 5) = p (x=4) + p (x=5)

    = 0.42 + 0.41=0.83
