    -4.

    The equation for a line is y-y₁=m (x-x₁)

    Using the following:

    x₁ = 1

    x₂ = - 2

    y₁ = 1

    y₂ = 4

    and slope, or m, is (x₂-x₁) / (y₂-y₁),

    You can now fill out the equation!

    y - (1) = - 1 (x - (1))

    y = - x+2

    And solve by substituting the 6, or x₃, into the equation to find the corresponding y value:

    y = - (6) + 2

    y = - 4

    Therefore,

    n=-4
