How do I solve 2 1/2 + 4 2/3 = ?

    You would turn your whole numbers into fractions (Ex. 2 would be 4/2 and 4 would be 12/3) Then you add that to the fractions you have so then it would be 5/2 + 14/3. You will then need a common denominator so 15/6+28/6=43/6
