    Find the GCF and factor:

    3x (4x + 1) = 0

    Set the single term factor on the left side of the equation equal to 00. 3x = 0 or x = 0

    Then set the other side equal to 0

    4x + 1 = 0

    x = - 4/1

    So in all you get x = (0,-1/4)
