Quite simple. The greater number must be 75% more than the lesser.

You may do greater number as (35), while the lesser number as (20).

    To test this: 20*.75 = 15. 20+15 = 35.

    (.75 equals 75% in a quantity)

More so, getting 75% of 20 then adding it to itself to find the greater number as such.

    75% is equal to ¾

easiest way to do this is to make the smaller number a multiple of 4.

say the smaller number is 8.

To find the larger number, you must take 75% of 8 and then add it to 8.

    1/4 of 8 equals 8 divided by 4, which is 2.

    Therefore, 3/4 of 8 is 6. 8 + 6 = 14.

So your two numbers could be 8 and 14.
