An experienced employee can enter tax data into a computer two times as fast as a new employee. Working together, it takes the employees 12 hr. How long would it take the experienced employee working alone?

    Rate of work of experienced employee = 1/X

    Rate of work of new employee = 1/2X

    Rate of work of both employees = 1/X + 1/2X = 1/12 hours
