So plug in x for buses and y for vans

x+y+6=142

Subtract 6

x+y=136

51 times 2 gives you 102 for the bus capacity so two buses

x (2) + y=136

51 (2) + y=136

102+y=136

Subtract 102

Giving you 34

y=34

4 vans because

34 divided by 10 is 3.4 but there is no 3.4 van so round up to 4

You end up needing 2 buses and 4 vans
